Total Job Req During Period —

Total Job Req During Period Counts every hiring event that touched this window — a job that is currently open and started on or before this window's end date, a job that opened during this window, or a job that closed during this window. If a single job closed and reopened within the same window (filled once, then reposted), both events count separately, since each represents real hiring activity.
Example: Filter 07/01 → 07/07 25 jobs open/opened during this window
15 jobs closed during this window
One job (reopened same week) counted in both → still adds as 2 events
Total Job Req During Period: 40
Hiring Need in the Period —

Hiring Need in the Period Total Hiring Needs across every distinct job that touched this window — the same jobs counted by "Total Job Req During Period," summed by each job's latest Hiring Needs value from the database. A reopened job is counted once. Jobs with no Hiring Needs value add nothing.
Example: Filter 08/01 → 08/06 5 jobs touched this window, each needing 2 hires
2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 10
A job reopened in the same window still counts its need once.
Avg Days to Hire —

Avg Days to Hire Average days from a job's posted date to its fill date, for all jobs that closed within your selected window. Open jobs are not included.
How it's calculated: Total days across all filled jobs
÷ Number of filled jobs

Example:
3 jobs closed in 5d, 8d, 21d
(5 + 8 + 21) ÷ 3 = 11.3d avg

A single long-running job (e.g. 56d) will raise the average significantly.

Filter Records

Opened in Period = brand new postings this window. Total Job Req During Period = every hiring event touching this window — currently open jobs opened on or before the window ends, jobs opened during the window, and jobs closed during the window; a job that closed and reopened within the window counts as two events, not one. Closed in Period = jobs that closed within this date range, regardless of when they originally opened.
